hello I am new here but not to the hobby (addiction)....LOL

My name is Michael and I have been in this addiction for the last couple of years. At the present time I only have a 20l But in the next week or so I will be setting up a 90rr That I bought about 3 months ago and I am going to pick up a complete 75 this weekend. i plan on combining all 3 tanks into 90.

I will be staring the process this monday After I get back from picking up the 75. I will start a build thread if you are interested in the creation of my 90 SPS reef. But until then here are some pics of my 20l. Hope you enjoy.

thanks guys I don't have any pics other than an empty tank but I can give you an equipment list so far:

90rr
2 x 250w halides in reef optics 3 hqi reflectors powered by lumatek ballasts
either 2 or 4 54w t5's for atinincs
percision marine sump 30x14x16
euro reef cs6-2+ skimmer
3 echomod maxi jets

I will leave the 20l running until I make my final bulb choices. going with 10k just haven't figured out which ones. Any of you guys have any suggestions? Oh look my first question...LOL

I was thinking of going with reeflux I have a buddie that can get them cheap. he will also be the one that i stock my tank from. he is a dealer and he is doing a buy right now. 10 zoa colonies for $175,10 mixed box of clams $200 and 10 full sps colonies for $425 he said the last time he did the sps buy he got an 8 inch millipora. all colonies are fragable out of the box. that is where the 75 come in. it will be plumbed into the 90 as a frag tank.

guys I have another question since this will be a sps tank with just a few softies thrown in(wife is a ricordia and yuma lover...lol) How do i figure out my calcium consumption. I know it will change when I star to add sps and clams but what is the basic way to figure it out? test everyday for a week or month or what.

I want to get this right so I figured I would ask before I had problems.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
