Was wondering if someone can identify what's in the 2 pictures please.

Saw the Facebook post of R2R of aiptasia on the polyp frag and was wondering if that's what I have or if it's part of the polyps.

The second picture has a white sponge like thing on it. And not sure what it is.

These are from my 14 Biocube and both frags have doubled in size in the last 3 months.

That first pic is definitely aiptasia. You will want to get rid of it ASAP. You can use Joe's Juice, aiptasia-X or lemon juice.

That looks like a tunicate, harmless filter feeder. Hard to tell from the pic but it should have what appears to be two tubes. Easily removed.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
