Well guys and gals I finally got around to doing my acid bath. I've had so many set backs on my build...

Anyway here's some pictures of the process.

Before:
You can see some of the algae stains but the picture doesn't really do justice to how ugly the rock was.

During:
I had even more "froth" than this at one time but didn't snap a pic. And it was filthy.

After:
The rock looks so good now! Nice and white.

I can't thank you guys enough for the info. If it weren't for R2R I'd be so lost. Haha.
This was just a portion of the rock as I had limited time today so I'll be doing more soon but I just wanted to let you folks know how it went.

Happy Tuesday!

Your rocks looking good.
What will you do after clean?

Thanks! I think I will put all the rock in a brute can with a pump at the bottom and run tap water for a day, then RO/DI for 2 or 3 days changing it out each day, then I will add salt, heat, and fish food to get a cycle going.

Happy to see things worked out for you....you are now "certified" to give fellow reefers advice on acid washing!
