How many reefers also have freshwater tanks?

Was just curious how many reefers also have freshwater tanks and if so why both?

I have african cichlids and they are fun to watch doing the constant chasing and such. TBH when I move next year they will be rehomed and I will go strictly salt.

Started with freshwater! I love it as much as I do salt!
It doesn’t get enough respect, some fish (and a good planted tank) can be just as much work as saltwater.

I have had a 55g for as long as I can remember. The current version has been up at least 15 yrs now. It's had its ups and downs. But it's what got me into the hobby.

I have to ask... How did you get baby goldfish in your canister filter? Did you buy it used from someone with water still in it?

I still maintain my freshwater tanks. I love my fw fish as much as I love my sw inhabitants. Once they all pass away I might convert my main FW tank to sw but I don't know. I still find that tank as fascinating to look at today as the day I set it up years ago.
