Ya I guess your right and also for some reason my family expects me to put food on the table and keep a roof over there heads on top of the cost of maintaining my tank!Catch 22, got to work to afford it! LOL
I used to buy torches for 40-50 with 15-20 heads…Couple hundred on a Homewrecker frag a few years back. Still have it to this day, but it hasn't really grown enough to frag and make some money back.
Reading this makes me sad. I remember when I first got back in like 20 years ago, you could buy basically an euphyllia with a couple heads for like $20 bucks. Now those same corals have funky names, and they charge a hundred bucks for a single head.
I bought an OG Bounce for 2400 and then I proceeded to kill it over time lolIt’s no secret that this hobby is expensive and why I told myself I wouldn’t ever spend more than like $200 on a single coral or fish. Especially because it could die on me. I also feel like corals should not be thousands of dollars and I can spend my money on better things but I guess some coral are like designer brands. So…I’m curious how much is your most expensive coral and what is it?
Like 5k, 4 headed acantho lol
My most expensive was this indophyilla on sale for $700
That is how they get me every time125$ for a gold hammer but it got me over the free shipping threshold and saved me 75$. So I count it as 50$.
