I can't seem to get Alexa to respond correctly to simple task such as Feed Mode A or giving me a status report. Most of the time it tells me "Welcome to Apex Fusion, you could ask me....". I'm very frustrated by this after spending countless hours on trying to get Alexa to respond correctly. Definitely a Beta project....

To make it easier for alexa to recognize speech, you need to speak using clear words. Another important thing that you need to be near the unit and to minimize surrounding voices and noise. For example if you have a tv running in the same room this will give alexa a hard time.

she can be pretty picky about how you arrange your words. for example, if i say
" Alexa, tell apex fusion to turn the skimmer off"
it will NOT work, but if i say,
"Alexa, tell apex fusion to turn off the skimmer"
it will always work.
I dont have issues with feed modes however, i alwasy give the command,
"Alexa, tell apex fusion to start feed cycle A"

If you have a smartphone you already have big brother hearing you all the time . How do you think you get targeted ads on the internet or news. Do you know where apex fusion saves the data and how it protects it ? It is in the cloud.
