I picked up a blasto frag last week, its been in my frag rack in my sump. Seems like these are typically located on the sandbed, are people just pushing the plug into the sand? Should I mount it to a small rock? I'm concerned because I have a pistol shrimp, he tends to do some landscaping through the night.

I also have 2 blastos in the sand and would like to either put on rubble or at the foot of my rock. Maybe the far left foot on the left side or the next one?

That's the same one I have, pretty cool coral. My first of one of these, seen a lot of other cool color combinations. I vac my sand when I do waterchanges, think it would be safer if it was on a rock. Then I don't have to worry about a crab or shrimp knocking it over.

What's that large blue one in the middle. Montipora or leather?

It's supposed to be a blue toadstool. I think my tank is too cool as it retracted it tentacles. Also, just fed, so all the fish might have irritated it. The clowns host it. Trying to get temp back up to 78. Have heater control turned to 80 now. Tank is 76.7 This leather is what I call a survivor! Here is a better pic of it. I'm waiting for the "fingers" to open on it.
