If you don't see to many use superglue and cover the hole he is is or where ever its attached.

Now if you have hundreds you can do two things.
A - leave them be as I have seen huge beautiful tanks with them (retailers)
B - fenbendazol witch is the ingredient for safeguard 4 found at almost all pet shops (do not just dump the packet in!)

Yes they are stingers they don't kill per say with their sting in one shot over time you may loose stuff. These guys are potent to zoanthids!

B = bingo! Pancur does not get rid of them within the first application. It took me two applications.
****** I have a SHWOLR tank. Everything in the tank will be affected. Any invertebrates will be killed.. Including snails. So be careful. Even your skimmers and equipment, live rock and sand will get affected. I missed one shrimp and 2 snails and my tank almost crashed. So please if you use it be careful. Oh and I had 3/4 of them... Including the digit---the jellyfish ones that kill my seahorse fry.

It has to be made. It is a granular that is turned into a powder.
This is another successful tank treatment :-)
When directions are followed there is almost no loss to inhabitants.
Thank you @Breakthecycle2 it is a pleasure to work with you!

Fenbendazol is 98% safe when used prepared correctly and directions are followed to the tee

Seahorsesource.com check out their medication and the warning is on the site.
That is awesome!
BUT incorrect
If you still are dealing with Digitates and don't want to loose your coral just contact me.

I would not use what they sell. Its 10% so what is the other 90%?
Fenbenz has to be used exactly as I recommend. Years of research on my part will save you

What kind of research did you do. How did you find this treatment?
Just a quick background.
I was introduced into chemistry, biology and micro biology at the age of 10 thanks to my parents.
I do not have a PhD in anything and didn't peruse my dreams cause I didn't want to go to college
I ended up being an industrial electrician
In 2008 I had my first experience with red bug.
I started to research what we know as interceptor. Me loving research I had to find out what was safe to use.
This is where I started my research into the most common aquarium pests. I absolutely love what I do.
When they quit making interceptor I had to find something else that was effective and safe. After several years of trial and error I found fenbendazol
It was a tough road for sure getting to understand this.
I have what I call my "experimental" tank. This is where I have learned all the dosing and reactions to specific pests. Flatworm, red bug, hydroids, AEFW, and algaes
I used all my own aquacultured specimens to find the right dose per gallon.
I continue my research to the day for the absolute best safe treatment of aquaria issues.

I just took a knife to then. Cut them right off the rocks. I wonder if that'll be enough?
