For the life of me I can’t quite figure out a simple dosing schedule for my sole. I created a dosing regimen that I dose 6,000ml/day in 12 intervals…so every 2 hours. Now that I have that schedule created how do I get the sole to implement it. Pump does nothing every 2 hours.

Guess I needed to calibrate it first before doing a test schedule. Schedule worked however after calibrating and the schedule to run 500ml the output pump icon shows 88.9. Does that mean it needed to pump 88.9 more ml does that mean it pumped 88.9 too much? Wouldn’t it read either 500 or 0.0 ??

6000 ml a day is quite a bit. If I added right that would be 500ml each time. Make sure the flow rate you are using will finish the dose amount well before the start of the next scheduled dose.

6000/ day is currently the amount of effluent I’m dosing the tank…so you are correct. 500ml/ every 2 hours. Doser should be able to handle that, right ?? Still not sure what the 88.9 is. I’m kinda sure it’s the amount short of making the 500.

Are you referring to the log for the pump? Just make sure you have the speed or dlow rate on the pump set to a speed that can deliver the 500ml before the 2hrs is up. You have to set it on the pump output and in the schedule.

It’s set to the fasted allowed which is like 330ml/minute. I don’t know what the log for the pump is. 88.9 is displayed in the output section of the pump on a pump icon.

That does not have anything to do with the dosing. Is one of these numbers what you are referring to?

Since I displayed my KH pump here is the log for it. I have it in 4 schedules and it uses dynamic dosing in each depending on the alkalinity reading taken before the dosing occurs so that is why they are a different dose each time depending on the schedule at the time of the dose.

The only time that would have a number is when the pump is actually running and it starts at near the full dose and counts down as it is dosing until the dose is complete and then dissappears.

It’s gone now but stayed at 88.9 for several minutes. I’ll check it again when it doses at 6pm
The app get it from the cloud so there might be some delay between the pump and the screen. Did you find the output logs in the left menu?

This time it was timed better. I think you are correct. The pump stopped but he informed me lagged last time. This time it did like you described. Counted down…kinda got stuck at 178.3 then made it way down to zero and the numbers disappeared.

When you say the count stalls it will do that when the app needs to be refreshed

The log shows it dosed 500ml
You will still want to calibrate it if the amount is something critical but do it at the flow rate you are going to use. The way Hydros calibrates is it runs the pump for 1 minute and you measure the amount and tell the Hydros how much was dispensed. It then uses that to either reduce time run or add to it to get the desired does you want to dose. I would also if it was me drop the flow off of maximum flow. I don't like running things at their absolute maximum ratings if I don't have to. You should be able to run at 200ml a minute without any issues it will just run longer each time.

Good idea. Even though it’s only a $39 pump. Might as well make it last as long as possible.
