Been battling what I assumed was Cyano for a while, but it seems to be getting worse instead of better.

I've had sections of my rock with patches of red film that I can peel off with tweezers. Lately I'm also having sections of green film but it doesn't peel off like the red gunk does. I have to brush it off with soft brush.

I've also got some sections of my sand that is turning brown. Ideas on what this is and how to get rid of it? My LFS said to use Red Slime Stain Remover but that hasn't really helped.

Parameters:
Alk 8.9 dkh
PH 8.15
Nitrate .2
Phosphate .08

My tank is approximately 2 years old.

Some pictures are attached.

Thanks for your help.

I’m not sure on the ID, but the last time this happened to me it was the rodi going bad.
Just funky junk popping up. Got new filters and it passes in a month or so.
