Identification help

Can anyone help identify what is growing on the frag plug of my Xenia.

Vermedit snail possibly? Hard to make out.

Thanks... I have aired on the side of safety and removed it. I've had the Xenia for a few months and it hasn't really taken off. My zoas and mushrooms have though so maybe it is a paracitic snail.

This is what I scraped off the Xenia is this part of the snail? All I could find on the internet was a stoney tube for the snail but no mention of a gel type substance
