Are there any reliable inline heaters out there anymore? I know cobalt aquatics used to make one, hydor as well, but I can’t seem to find them anywhere.

Are you running off a canister or a small AIO without a sump? :-) I haven't used inline heaters on a saltwater tank before; my smaller AIO's have the heater in the rear compartment.

I was happy with the JBL ones previously, I have seen people use them on smaller reef tanks as well. Have a look at that!

Reliable? I can't speak to that. I think about going with inline, but always start tending much more toward DIY PVC with an Eheim heater. Plenty of DIY Inline vid on youtube.

I can speak to reliability. I’ve had that hydor running on a freshwater tank for 4+years. I thought it would have failed by now, but it keeps going. Never had a problem with it.
