in need of some advice

So my anemone decided it wanted to see more of the tank today and started walking. My tank is mostly frags but Many have encrusted and are starting to do their thing so I am getting a little leery of the nem. It has been fine in it's spot since mid-late may. It is now under a ledge getting flow, but no light. Should I try to remove him from the rock, or let him do his thing and hope for the best? I like him, but I will get rid of him if need be. Also I have read many different ways of removing them from rocks, unfortunately, it is attached to a base rock right now and would require me to remove all rockwork to get it out. Any good suggestions if it comes down to having to manually remove them nem? Thanks

Well the answer lies within you! LOL! How bad do you want to keep the anemone? Also I have had a BTA move around all over frags and never sting them.

As far as removing the anemone I have heard many ways. One being direct flow right at it until it moves then pull it out while it's on the move. Second place a rock near it that you can move and try and get it to move to the mobile rock. Another way was people using ice cubes on the foot. And then finally just getting under the foot and slowly peeling it away. Have to be careful not to tear the foot though.

I will say this "off the record." LOL! I had one BTA that I was trying to peel away and I ripped it into 3 pieces, foot and all. I expected it to die but in turn I had 3 anemones! LOL!
