I would just add the Metroplex for now.

Kanaplex is a wide spectrum antibiotic it doesn't treat Brook.

You are no bother at all, this is what R2R is all about!!!

Yes just as the instructions state, for dosing amount as well.

This is an insane read! I hope your fish get better soon. I have never had to deal with brook or velvet, only ich. It looks like it is a nightmare!

Being a fish fanatic can you share your thoughts about adding an UV as an extra layer of protection for your fish?

UV can help big time but as far as managing serious parasites I don’t see it being effective.

I don't use one. It's not necessary for my tank. They have benefits. I keep pretty basic fish though so it's hard to tell...

I actually am a major proponent of using UV to manage diseases.
I find that it is effective if you supersize the is sterilizer. For example, I run a 160 watt unit on my 180 gallon tank and I have never seen a case of ich or any other disease or infection in that tank.
I would love to chat with you about UV and my methods and expierence!

I am kidding about the lounge btw. I am just not a believer in UV.

Current stocking is 35 clownfish, a longhorn cowfish, a coris wrasse, 2x royal gramma, and a recently removed blue tang (outgrew the tank)
I used to QT, but I have not in about a year, in which time I have completely changed my stocking.
I add fish pretty much every month but I am starting to slow down due to the bipolar from the clowns.
I also frequently add wild caught inverts which can and probably do carry parisites, but I have never had an issue.

It's not surprising that you don't have any issues honestly. Those are all considered parasite "resistant" fish.

I'm not saying it doesn't work don't get me wrong. There is no right or wrong way here... I can tell you though I'd be surprised if it worked for other certain genus of fish.

The clowns are a recent addition ~last 2 months. Prior to that, I had blennies, anthias, puffers, and 4 tangs. All were not QT’d and they never had any issues.
