japanese LED brands

i have some family visiting japan soon and was wondering if theres any japanese led brands that i could have them pick up for me. been trying to research mostly looking for led strips but cannot come up with anything.

they will be in osaka and awaji

Do you plan on using them as supplemental lighting or as the main lighting on a DT? My understanding is even within the same brand, different bin #s will give you substantially different colors and par readings. Just something to keep in mind if they'll be your primary lighting source

I just google "LED strips" AND "Made in Japan" and the one that keeps popping up in Phoenix brand, but always used in car applications. Phoenix MH bulbs are also made in Japan, so it may be the same company and they may have something for that application. May be worth looking into...

Jt LEDs is over there I think they make some nice all in one LEDs with a mini heat sink and all.... For supplemental it would be okay I think but not for a actual display light there only 1.5w I think it was...

ok thanks, I will look into those brands and see if theres a shop in osaka, kobe, or awaji. i know blue harbor is in osaka, but family will only be there for 2 hours before heading down south to awaji for the rest of the week. I hate that i missed this oppurtunity to go due to final exams :sure:
