Be warned though I've been told I'm doing it wrong and that driving LEDs like that won't work.

So, bumping up the light intensity might help if you're using the stock power supply going to 4 led arrays.

I'd also look at very small consistent dosing of iron. If I remember right when I started doing that I noticed a difference in deeper color and thickness.

That's also assuming you've been running that scrubber for at least a couple months now. It takes time to build up and that looks like a nice screen to me if just starting up in the first few months.

No. It’s not good. The growth is very slow and thin. I’m not happy with it.

I might be wrong but I think I matched the amp out with the stock power supply. The volts were in range which I have mine set to about 20 volts with the 5amps out. Don't know how linear it would translate to going to two fixtures but starting at like 8v and slowly ramping up over time might work.

Also, I wouldn't be to aggressive in cleaning the screen. Quick swipe with something like a credit card to remove loose strands should be sufficient. Then scrub up near the water pipe area.

The star fish are in there somewhere and weren't out tonight. The royal gramma I only see first thing in the morning before the lights come on. I still have all my angels so very happy about that. The filefish hasn't eaten my other cleaner shrimp yet so that's good.

Just thinking about it I haven't seen the shark nose gobie in probably a few days. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. I don't know how old they get but maybe it was time. I'm going to assume my jester gobie is dead of old age by now. Rarely ever saw it anyway.

My oldest fish that I know of are my clowns but they have decided to setup and roost behind all the rocks right now. I'm pretty confident my flame angels are a mated pair as well.

If you haven't blown out my board yet, then you're not doing it wrong. You just had to match the voltage of that power supply, because it is constant voltage which is important. Then current would vary based on demand load (dimming).

I trust you to do it right. I don't trust that many other people would...which is probably why I don't use that power supply but good to know it's out there
