Just algae?

So yesterday my sand was pristine white...today I come home and its got brown all in it. Is this just brown algae? is it normal? does it go away. This is the 7th day my tank has been up and running. Picture below

Diatom algae. It's part of cycling a new tank. It should go away over time with good water quality. Next you're likely to have a Cyanobacteria outbreak.
