I just joined the site and wanted to say hi, my name is David. I'm pretty new to saltwater, about a year. Any advice or tips is appreciated. I look forward to meeting y'all.

Welcome home! You'll love it here!

First bit of advice: Get a refractometer. Don't rely on swing arms. Look up on YouTube how to calibrate refractometer said as well (very easy). They're cheap on Amazon.

Happy reefing! You'll get more ROI on your questions if you ask specific questions and start a thread! :). Welcome again!

Thanks for the post! I actually do use a refractometer. My swing arm is off by 2 1/2 points. Thanks for the advise!
