I have just ordered the new lighting system to upgrade from a black. box (going to put over sump) I have the black box on a schedule but have never messed with a programmable lighting system. I would love to get ideas on how to set it up, have some soft corals and a bubble nem. but want to start adding sps and lps, my water parameters are good and have been stable for some time now. just felt the lighting was not going to be enough until now... any suggestion is welcome. thanks :)

I would reach out directly to logan at reefbreeders. If you tell him your tank dimensions and livestock he will know exactly where to start the lights percentage wise.

The photon v2's are awesome lights btw, great choice.

thanks velcro,
I'll try that and see what he recommends, one thing that keeping this tank has thought me is patience haha. just an after thought to the first question would the black box be enough for Chaeto algae to help with point of sale. control? I would imigine so, but I'm not expert by any means
