Hello,
Thanks for having a great site to gather knowledge. I'm sure I will receive more than I give. My name is David and I am an aquarium addict. I have had fresh water tanks my entire life. I tried a venture into saltwater years ago before we had the internet so information was lacking. Needless to say it did not go well. About 4 years or so ago I decided to try it again and set up a 75 gallon. That went well except for a few noob mistakes. I currently have a 150 and a 180 gallon tanks plumbed to a shared 125 gallon sump in the basement. The 180 is a FOWLR&A (FOWLR & anemones.) It houses 3 tangs, a yellow eye kole, yellow, and vlamingii along with a niger trigger, magnificent fox face, 50+ bubble tip nems hosting a pair of tomato clowns and a 30 inch zebra moray who shares a cave with two cleaner shrimp and a long tentacle nem. The 150 houses 4 tangs, a naso, yellow, purple, and convict along with a harlequin tusk, mellanaurus wrasse, pair of gold strip maroon clowns hosting in 4 bubble tip nems, lawn mower blenny and 2 green chromis. Corals in the 150 are mostly LPS and some softies. Temporarily housed are 2 maxima clams and some LPS and small SPS that will be moving into the reefer 170 cycling in our bedroom that is replacing a JBJ 28 gallon. We still have freshwater also with some large south american cichlids and eartheaters and a 20 inch ornate bichir along with a huge flower horn named Bobby in a tank of his own. Our bathrooms are the only rooms that do not have tanks. I am working on that but Momma says we don't have the counter space. I actually bought a wall from her that housed her knick knack display so I could put up the 180. Sorry to be song long winded but I figure this is a hello here is a little about myself thread so that is what it is. :-)
