Kessil A360x on timer

I am a radion guy, but stopped by a LFS and was extremely impressed by the A360x.. my only concern was the controller. Looked a little dated and not very user friendly.

With that being said, would I lose anything by just using an on/off timer on the light until the WiFi dongle came out? I know I will not have access to the new red, green, and violet for now.. but being new to kessil I don’t mind enjoying the stock look for now. Was thinking more impact on fish can coral.

You won't be able top ramp up or down for dusk/ dawn effects, but other than that youd be good to go :)

I think I will be ok with that until the dongle comes out.. maybe it will be out before my cycle is over. I think I am going to do it!
