Love my kessil tuna blue 160! But my tanks not just kessil I also run t5HO, so not all credit can be placed on kessil... but it’s a powerful combo!!!

That nem looks happy, but I would be nervous with it that close to the powerhead.

Oh yeah they are, I’ll be moving it soon! I’ve been keeping a close eye on it but my anemones just keep outpacing and out growing the tank!

Another question I get asked alot, is what schedule should I be running my kessil's at. While there is no one perfect schedule, i'd like everyone to share their schedule as a guide to new users or those looking to adjust their schedules.
Mine is as follows
Lights come on at 10AM at Deep Ocean Blue (0% Color) 10% Intensity
Ramp up to 11 AM Ocean Blue 3 (Approx 30% color) 20% intensity
Ramp up to 12 Noon Ocean Blue 4 (Approx 50% color) 60% intensity
Stays there until 5 pm when it starts ramping down to
7PM Ocean blue 3 (approx 30% color) 20% intensity
Then off at 8PM

Here's my schedule, I had them maxing at 50% for a long time but recently moved it up about 5% a week because I moved many of my corals to the sand bed. I have one ap700 18 inches above my 24" 90g, which has mostly LPS. I don't have a way to measure par but I'm probably on the low end.

That's what I'm doing. I have only had a few issues w/ corals. A trachy that was at the bottom died over about a month, torches that were halfway up died randomly too. But I have a chalice and blastos showing growth in the corners on the bottom. So I'm not sure if I can attribute it to the light or not. I haven't really seen any differences after turning them up but I guess time will tell.

For anyone using the Aquatic Life hybrid... did anyone try tying the whole unit together using just the Kessil arm mounts? I shot Kessil and email and they said each arm mount is rated to hold a maximum of 5 times the weight of the light. 20 pounds for a single arm. This is for the regular mounting arm without extensions which would be required depending on how you tie in the T5's. I'm really wanting to keep the aesthetic of the mounting arms and hanging from the ceiling isn't really an option for me (tilted cathedral ceiling)
