korallia pump 1500 experiences?

I have a 300 gallon tank and I’m thinking of getting the korallia pump 1500 because it’s cheap and has a high gph rate.

What are your experiences with this pump? I’m seeing reviews of the pump spinning reverse, having oil which kill the fish, and causing electric surges.

Maybe I’ve been only looking at bad reviews, but are these common with this pump?

The only issue I had with a Koralia pump was having it spin in reverse. But that was an issue many years ago and I know they corrected that. I have 2 old Koralia wavemakers running on an old Koralia reversing system and they work just fine. I think the system I'm using is more than 8 years old (not that it has been in use all that time).
