those are ridiculously expensive. 2 Aqua Illumination Sol Blues will do nicely. 399 each now.

I don't think two AIs will be enough for a 75g. I'm thinking about doing two AIs and four T5s over my 75g. I have a 24 cree LED fixture over my frag tank and I threw it over one side of my 75 just to see what it looked like and I think it needed more to get good coverage.

AI's are really powerful right? Wouldn't two give you the coverage you need if they are high enough above the water line? Just adjust the power higher.

Lol they are the very same LEDs I have in my DIY fixture what makes them very powerful are the lens which narrow the spread. Does anyone actually have the two AIs over a tank this size or something similar? If so please post a pic, I'd love to be proven wrong since I want to run AIs myself.
