Let Me ID Your Wrasse!

The freckled hawkfish doesn’t have the white band in its forehead. I thought it was this orange Pygmy basslet https://fishybusinessaquatics.com/fish/basslet/orange-pygmy-basslet-serranus-annularis/ or this naoko wrasse https://fishybusinessaquatics.com/fish/wrasse-reef-safe/naokos-fairy-wrasse-cirrhilabrus-naokoae/

Melanurus, yes? This wrasse is large 3.5 inches, larger than many full color Terminal Melanurus male. TIA
When will he loose his baby spots. I am anxiously await for him to turn full terminal male.

Here she was when I first got her less than a year ago. Less than 2 inches. Thanks again

Yes, that's melanurus. And it will probably go terminal male "in time". :)

There's no way to put a number on it.
