Hey there everyone,
I have been messing aroung with my T5 fixture for awhile now and would like some opinions.
I have a Tek Elite 6x39watt over a 40 breeder, 36x18x16. It is only 14 inches from sandbed to waterline. How high should I hang the fixture and what is the best bulb combo to keep everything. Trying to make my chalices and acans on the sandbed happy but keep my sps happy up top also. Thanks!

I would go 14 to 18" above... That's alot of light for a shallow tank.. When I had a frag tank I was 18" off the water and that kept them all happy... My little pc experiment proved to me that we over light our tanks...
