Lighting Recommendations for Nuvo 30L

Hi all!

Considering purchasing a Nuvo 30L. I am hoping that some of you can provide some recommendations. I will be stocking with SPS,LPS and fish.

A pair of Kessil A360we's over that tank would be beautiful! And you'll be able to grow any coral you want with them :)

Welcome to R2R :) I’ve got an IM 20 and love it. They fill up quick if (when) you become addicted. I wish I had gone with the 50 lagoon!

I run the Current USA loop system on my 20. One 18” and one 24” strikes connected to 3 660gph power heads.

I considered those too but wouldn’t the hydras and kessils be overkill? I don’t want to waste lighting the floor. The 30l is 36” x 15” x 13”.

Not overkill at all. I had a pair of A360s over my 40 breeder which was 36x18x16.

You could go with a single Hydra 52 but I am unsure if it would cover 36"

Following- I’m starting the same tank/build soon and am considering kessil 360’s or radion xr15’s. I love the shimmer of kessils, I just wish they had better mounting options.
