Local fish store finds

[Backreefing]

I would like to see some LFS finds that started like a white or brown frag and turned into something nice .
Example in last December I got a $20 no name acropora frag that was not at all pretty. Now it’s one of my favorites. Here is before and after. 1st in December last in July.

I picked this fungia up at a steal for $30 at my lfs, it was very pale and looking rough, it's been super happy in my tank. It's got orange, red, and green in it.

No idea what this was.. Unfortunately I only have a small frag left from a crash.
