Looking for others using ESV Salt

Curious if anyone else has notice some inconsistencies in the their salt batches lately?
On my last two orders it's taken me 19 cups of salt to get 55 gallons to 35ppt. Before that it was dead nuts every single time which I loved.

Also curious to hear if others have had issues coming off the ESV and going back to a "lesser" quality salt. I've been considering it for a while, since the ESV is nearly twice that of RC, and good luck finding it at the LFS in a pinch. Anyway, the cost is really starting to cramp my style and my need to buy new corals.

Have you talked to Todd about this? He goes through it like water ;) and seems to love it... if there was a bad batch I would guess he would see it as well.

Hey Rob, I called ya back. It was of course 6 am and you were likely not up and around yet.

Jeremy Carpenter uses a scale for his ESV salt mix. When mixing it by weight it comes in spot on every time. I have it manufactured for me in 150 gal mix's so I am dead on to.
