Late by a day on test results but:

Sal-1.026(or 35 on the refractometer thingy)
Ammo-0
Nitri-0
Nitra-0
Phos-0,055
Alk-9.8

I’m scared of zeros across the board like this. I do add daily some all for reef, which could be bad cause I don’t know my mag or cal yet lol. Only signs of dinos are on the icky floss I pull daily.

I still need a skimmer. I’m still not sure on which one is best for this tank. For now everything seems ok. Will keep adding daily AFR.

You're not adding any vinegar to the tank, right?
Nope. I add all for reef. Feed pellets twice a day, sometimes a half cube of baby brine. Water changes are a five gallon bucket and it’s every few weeks.

I do have some calurpa and dead mans fingers but not a whole lot of either.

It's a smallish tank. Nitrates should easily build up is imagine. My thoughts are there's a lot of uptake somewhere. Unless you have a significant amount of hair algae which can hide nitrates, you're uptaking more nitrates than you're adding.

Even though I checked and the opening lines are “raised to be a lady by the golden rule” and never once says “luck be a lady” the song All The Girls Love Alice by Elton John gets stuck in my head whenever I see this thread.

Anyways ignore this odd intrusion

The back wall has some but it’s not a lot. Maybe it’s enough.

Tomorrow though I’m heading to the local reef shop to waste 25 bucks on another coral to see if it’ll live. lol.

I grabbed this for 25.00. Is it worth it? Will it love? What is it XD.

Second pic it’s on the left. Far away from everyone else.

That is a Favia/Favites would be my best guess. Colors are close for a PPE but the brown should be more purple so I'm going with a standard Brown and Green Favia (probably actually Favites though). No special name, but no name is needed.

Medium light, medium high flow. They can handle low light or high light, but medium light seems to bring out better colors.
