So that wouldn’t print a 10 gallon lid would it? (Standard size but idk what that is XD)
Also thanks for the tag!
Not in one piece, no.

:thinking-face: How bad would two pieces look? lol.
It could cause shadowing under a single light. There'd have to be some seam in the middle to join the two pieces.

Could you not make connectors for the long sides? And of course corners? But you’re printing the whole thing right? Screen too or adding that yourself with spline?

I wish I could figure out how to design things to print.

I love my Clearview lid, am genuinely considering replacing the top lids one on my seahorse tank with one of theirs instead. If kraken doesn't do that big for you, maybe they'd be an option

I will have to definitely look more into them. I’m a little confused on their design aspect. They show they have the lid for the 70.2 and it’s a decent price (krakens is more expensive) but they don’t show that they have the overflow cut out. I didn’t see an option for it so I’m assuming they do. It does look like a quality lid. And should leave me funds for some powerheads.

So I know I could get the CV lid, the Oase canister filter and still have around 230 left over. That should allow for some wavemakers if I’m smart. I know two are always better than one but maybe I can grab one for now and see if I like it and get the other later. I do need a lid solution for the 10(probably the screen kit) and i also need to order from Dinkins.

A friend is supposed to be getting the flex 9 soon and that’ll be 60 more in my funds. It’s sucks I can’t just do everything with the tank and supplies but it’s probably smarter and more important to do it this way. Hot Lips will probably appreciate a better top lol.

Their customer service is super responsive and usually pretty quick.

I texted. If they respond chances are I’ll buy today. I added it up and with the hygger gyre, lid and canister, I’ll have 157 left. I’ll need to see what options I have for the 10 gallon. Canister filter pipes are probably a pain with a screen kit.

I went ahead and ordered the lid yesterday. Waiting on a reply this morning about a gyre.

I’m pretty happy with how things are looking as far as the 70 goes. I do need to figure out if I’m in the midst of a bacterial bloom or if it’s just particulates floating about. There are dinos and the rock is getting covered in brown. A paintbrush wasn’t rubbing it all off and the turkey baster wasn’t either. I am slowly increasing the pump flow all the way back up like it used to be.

I am debating on blowing the remainder of my funds on some of those hopes from caribsea to kinda make it a bit more fun to look at.

Fingers crossed in this gyre though. It seems the perfect thing and a good price as well.

Didn’t get the gyre, but I went to the local reef shop. They had an aquatop forza DC 2113. I went ahead and got it. Seems to work ok so far. I don’t know the best placement, on the back or on the side. It looks a lot like the Nero. I used to have an Aquatop canister, and really liked it. This wave pump shows 4.8 stars and the only bad review is about the website not giving rewards lol.

Once the skimmer pump gets here and the lid, and some more rocks I’ll be done with this one other than filling it with corals. I may grab some cement to actually stack this rock in a neat way. Or find some arches. I dunno.

I think I lost another diode on the kessil this weekend. It seems a little dimmer.

Thinking about this. Seems like it would be just enough to finish up the rockwork. Anyone used it before? Do the piece seem nice? It’s a lot of money lol. They have a smaller option but it doesn’t specify the “shapes” and I’d like somethjng that looks different than the other reef lol.

I spent all the monies lol.

I ordered the tock, the lid and bought the wavemaker. I’d say that should have this tank well enough? At least til I’m ready for corals. I need to at least find a replacement sponge for the “bubble trap” but it could just be a bacteria bloom.

Everything’s brown and the water seems cloudy with a tad of a smell. Params show up still very low though.

Snapped some pics before lights off.

Hopefully this weekend this will look fancy lol.

She rushed the glass at me akin to how my angels did. Right before they became homeless lol. I told her to slow her roll.
IMG_1241.jpeg

She’s not amused and has claimed her stake. Oops. Ah well she will stay til I see her go after fish I add. But then again I do have a jail cell for her to mind her manners if it comes down to it.

I love the blue in this. Can’t see too good with my pics but the disc is really bright powder blue.
IMG_1251.jpeg

Flaming borthole, anyone? This one is pretty large. I’m still peeved it’s on the front glass lol. But I guess if that’s where it’s happy at.

Same with this weirdo. I’m glad to see this one growing finally.
