Rocks should be here tomorrow, as well as I believe the Noopsyche light! I’ll be dreaming of scapes and settings all day tomorrow lol.

Tracking this am shows three things due today. So I think it’s the pump for the skimmer, the light AND the rocks.

Then all I’m waiting on is the lid for the 70.

Oh my nem split again last night. No idea why. The other split part is still in there so technically three of them. Though it’s tiny.

I flashlighted the tank this morning to see if everything else was ok, since the BTA split and my beautiful giant rock flower was not normal. The food was no longer on the bottom like it usually is, and it looked a bit shriveled. Couldn’t get a pic or see much as lights are off but… I’ll have to look at it this afternoon. Hopefully it’s ok, I like that stupid flaming borthole.

Also I looked in on the 70 and the cloud seems gone. Won’t know for sure til again, this afternoon.

As per my confusion I have had companies hand their fed ex or ups over to usps for delivery. I thought that was this lol. I’m a dummy.

lol I’m so dumb. It is the light just delivered via the post office which having two tracking numbers really messed my brain up XD

But yeah I need help with this setup on the noo. I tried pressing the buttons like it said and it doesn’t quite work out so for now it’s unplugged

Yesterday evening was quite a bit more stressful than I thought it would be, so I didn’t get to really do an update. Other than show the rock off.

The skimmer pump was delivered and installed, and turned on. Overflowing all over in the sump lol. Of course I knew this would go on so it’s fine I have the drain tube open and everything else too.

Rock came too. The branch I’m a little sad about because it was broken. I can glue it but I have to get some glue first. For now it’s kinda propped up where the broken bits are hidden. I asked Hubbs what he thought and he said, and I quote “It looks busy.” lol. I was like, you don’t like it? Busy how? Good busy or bad busy? lol. He just said busy. So idk XD

I was able to set the Noo-Psyche light up, kinda. I may need to see if I can get it in the kessil mount as it sits down a bit further than I like, and it casts some shadows since the spread is only about 20”. I got it to connect to its own wifi lol. And the app. It’s on the stock “Lps” setting. Or whatever the center one is. I could not for the life of me get it to connect to my normal 2.4 wifi, even after verifying that it and the 5.0 are two different ssid. Hubbs was too busy running about having to go back to work so he couldn’t help. If this works like this it’s fine. I just have to now find a good schedule and color spectrum. It’s a bit of a small window where the signal is. Too close it’s too weak. To far it’s too weak. Also “weak security” lol. But if I stand at just the right spot and hold my mouth right, it connects like a champ. It’s also very bright! And I do like how the little blue led shines almost like moonlight down into the tank. It’s a pretty neat led and seems like it’ll do a fantastic job.

I’ll snap some pics this afternoon when I get home if I have the time. And figure out how to get a better schedule imported.

Ok cool lol. It seems like a decent program and it’ll give me a little extra time to enjoy the tank since it was from sunrise to sunset. This is a little later than both :)

Ammonia 0.8 currently. Didn’t check the other numbers. I want this to bottom out.

It’s nice and stinky and brown though lol.

I couldn’t figure out what I wanted on the Amazon so I went with the flipper for this tank. I love the nano on the 35 so figured the larger one would be good here. I already have scratches galore thanks to kids and clumsiness on my part, but this should help prevent more.

Same here, turned up the flow and decreased the lights. It doesn't bother me too much. It is an eye sore.

I’m not sure if I do need to raise it though. All the corals seem illuminated just fine minus the one palythoa and I may pull it and move it to the 70 just cause.

This weekend I am going to figure out how to attach the noopsyche to the kessil mount. I can adjust it up a little higher and it’ll sit more centered hopefully giving me some better spread.

Me too! It’s the mixed one so in between brightness of the two. Also raising it up helped to even the spread a lot.
