I got a 55hex and stand and a ton of extras for free today. May sell it and go for a 55g or 40b regular

I love the dimensions of the 40b. I grabbed one a cple weeks back from someone getting out. Have been thinking of replacing my biocube with it but being a lazy bum gets in the way sometimes.

Had been running Phosgard in a bag for a couple weeks now and it seems to be a nice addition to my filtration. Some brown spots i had in rock are starting to disipate.

Got ahold of the ULR Hanna checker and Po4 tested at 1ppb which is lower than i was shooting for but good to finally know.

Pulled the Phosgard for now and am hoping the Chaeto reactor will keep it in check.

They definitely are... i pulled a couple if pieces from my biocube and stashed them in here so they weren't overrun with yuk.

That and i had no real direction in mind when 1st startinng out so theres a smorgasbord of different corals i dont really know what to do with

Well I just fell off the proverbial wagon when it comes to buying coral! 1st new piece coming in almost 6 months and if it looks anything like the images it'll be far and away the nicest piece in my box! Stay Tuned....

I went today and only got a light for my chaeto.

Sadly they cant all be exciting purchases but if you get that chaeto growing well your system will be all the better for it!

Well i cant get a very good picture color wise of the new torch but here it is under some whites with a bit more blue in the 2nd. Neither really come close to what i see though.

Its the Liberty Torch from the sheltered reef. Their pic here is a much better representation.

I served eviction notices to my terrorist 6 Line Wrasse and Flameback Angel today!
I guess ive been oblivious to how tense they had the tank until i tried adding fish recently.

Anyone looking to trap fish dont waste the money on a trap. 2 Liter bottle DIY had them both in under 2 hours!

No. It's just a lens. You'll need an orange filter for the blues.
