MarvinsReef Zoanthid Dominated Reef...

I'm getting a lot of micro bubbles from the AquaFuge's return.. anybody has any suggestion on how to eliminate the micro bubbles? I plan on finding a small filter sock to help with it... btw, the frags on the sand bed are the ones I don't know what to do with... they're on the list to either go on the 12g or to be sold... thanks for looking... any inputs will be appreciated... :)

Put that sponge block that I gave you in the chamber where the aquafuge empties out into. I had the same problem. Just make sure you clean it.

Very nice!! The more I do this, the more I like smaller tanks for Z&Ps.
Thanks Chris... if I had a choice, I'll have another set up just like this.. this one will house z's and p's w/ Grade A Picasso clowns.. and the other one will house Aussie lords and other LPS w/ SnowFlakes clowns.. that will be awesome.. ;)

Wow Marv the tank looks great! How do you like the 20k radiums?
Thank you Jesse... I don't think I'll ever use another bulb.. :)

i think we need to cut up that peace coral marv. Its looking too big...:horse:
JR, the Peace is not even in that tank yet... I still have a few piece on the 12g that needs to go in the 28g... (2) Aussie lords; 5 Color Rainbow paly colony; Sour Apples colony; Saber palys colony; Mummy Eye chalice; Peace coral, etc... :)

Hey Marvin, you got a pic of that favia on the bottom?
it's the one FS right now... it's that big now... ;)

wow.. thanks Adam.. I forgot about that one... I'll try to find it.. did the sponge eliminate the micro bubbles?

yes, finally installed the Tunze nano skimmer... it's working good.. do you guys think I need the chaeto in there? I don't plan on keeping SPS besides my SuperMan monti already acclimated to high nutrient environment.. LoLz.. maybe, I'll add another monti or two... ;)

next up is two more Koralia Nano's for more flow... so far everything is taking the new tank well.. I love the fact it's so much more automated... I dunno how I went without a Tunze Osmolator all these years... LoLz... and the chiller/heater combo keeps the tank temp solid around 78-79 degrees... yay!!!

youve got a combo chiller/heater now? Two seperate units? or?

nah.. sorry Paul.. I meant, my heater and the chiller keeps the water to my desired temp... it's awesome... man, all this techie stuff is actually getting me excited... I see now why you spend the extra cash for them... LoLz....

reefing now seems a bit more laid back since I don't have to worry about topping off and keeping the temp where it's suppose to be.. yay!!!

did I say I'm really enjoying my new set up? :hammer:

Welcome to the dark side.

Yeah the Osmolator was the best thing I have ever purchased. I have yet to jump on the controller band wagon. I wonder if I should invest in a chiller, as my fans are pretty loud when they are on.

Chris, a chiller is another equipment I'm glad to have... my temp is constant at 78-79 and I know my fishes and corals appreciate it... sometimes my tank can get up to 84 ++ when it's really hot outside.. but I have the controller shut off the lights past 84.. this is when I use to have the MH on for 8-10 hours... didn't have that problem anymore when I cut down the MH time to 6 hours... with the new set up, I plan on running the MH for 8 hours/day... and I don't have to worry about temp fluctuations... yay!

FREAKIN AWESOME BRO!!! sheeeesh and ahem! how much for the controller?? An osmolator, hmmm what else does it control? :D

bro, I've had the controller for a while... it controls mostly the lighting for now... but it'll control the chiller, skimmer, PW, and lighting when I get it all programmed... :)

Yeah. That Peace Coral is really awesome, probably my favorite peice of yours.....

I have really started to like my three different war coral colonies.....Does it feed the same way?!?

Very nice!
