Hello,
I wish to add a backup battery to my maxspect gyre xf350. I buy a backup battery adaptor but i cannot understand how to connect it.
Can someone put a diagram please? A schematic or a picture please?
It is write on it power supply 24 V and battery backup 12v?
From manual i cannot figure it out and is the most unclear manual ever
Thank you
In picture is the adaptor:

You install the adapter by connecting the single male end to your gyre, the female end labeled power supply to the power supply included with the gyre, and the female end labeled 12v battery to a 12v battery.

Since you don't have your battery you will need to purchase one. Any 12v battery will work. You can use an SLA, or Deep Cycle battery, or even a couple of lantern batteries. You will also need an adapter to convert raw wires to the female connector on the adapter.

While not required most people would also want the battery to charge when not in use. To do this you will need a 12v trickle charger plugged into an outlet and connected to the battery.
