May be adding a six line

I have a 150g Fowler. Lots of rock and hiding places. I have a big porcupine puffer, large Harlequin tusk, medium foxface, dwarf golden moray and a small coinbearing angler. I was thinking about adding a sixline wrasse. I've read a lot of stuff about them becoming aggressive, but with my stocking list, should that be an issue? Maybe people put them in with more docile fish? The six line is pretty good size, about 2-2.5 inches.

I'd think he'd be fine. They're quick! Mine likes to pick fights with himself in his reflection!

How much bigger is the porcupine puffer?

I have seen a porcupine puffer catch and try to eat a 4" sixline. He didn't get it all in his mouth, but enough to manage to kill it.

I've had mine for 4 years and he's a perfect gentleman. They can be a little nasty but the fish you have can certainly take care of themselves.
Also, they are generally mean to NEW arrivals. Since he'll be the last in the tank, no issue.

I've kept them with tangs seemed to get along with everyone else too. If you've got an angler he might be tempted by the 'bait' and get eaten himself!

I've had my current one a little over 2 years. I've seen some pretty big fat ones but mine is small, happy and healthy and don't think he's grown at all. I have 30 some fish including a bunch of different wrasses, angels, tangs, anthias etc. and never seen him bother anybody. Kind of shy and often really doesn't eat much when tank fed. He's usually too busy trolling the rocks for bugs.

Mine is a little hover hunter. I think he kind of plays with his food a little too. He's been nasty to flatworms as of late! ;)

The puffer is about 6-7" buy I've never seen him bother with another fish. The angler isn't big enough yet to swallow him. I think I may go for it. He will likely be the smallest in the tank. The foxface may be about the same size but he has the spines for defense.

I usually feed the puffer and the tusk and foxface go around picking up the scraps because the puffer is really messy. Will the six line scavenge the tank as well?

They love just about anything I've thrown at them.

How big is the angler. Anglers can swallow fish 25% larger than they are. And peaceful puffers can take a fatal bite out of new fish out of curiosity rather than malice.
