Hello just received a Melanurus wrasse and when he was received he was sick and/or injured. He seems to not be able to move his back end. It has been over 24 hours with no signs of progress. Anyone have any recommendations?

That's really sad. This seems to be a recurring trend with wrasses lately.
I wonder where the heck these things are coming from or what these people are doing.
I don't think so. I think the fish will probably end up dying. I don't want to act like I'm a fish medical expert because I am not, but that looks like spinal injury to me. The fish appears to be pretty nice otherwise. No visual signs of disease anyway and whatever happened must have happened in shipment from maybe people throwing packages around. I've seen what they do first hand. Thanks yes I knew it was a she I mistyped . Is there anything that can be done?

This fish looks to be healthy other than not being able to move his body.
I wouldn't give up one. You'll really like them. I have one that I've raised from under 2 inches to almost 5 inches. He's a fatty.Yea sucks I really wanted a Melanurus wrasse.
I've seen how they throw packages around first hand when they think no one is looking.I wonder is this fish was shipped in this condition or if it developed during transit. Not sure if this is something that comes on slowly or instantly
