just curious if this is "normal" coloration for the miami hurricane? i had it under 250w ushio 20k lighting and it was receiving light from two bulbs, but on the sandbed. just yesterday i moved it to my new frag tank, which is t5...to me it looks different than other pictures i've seen of the miami hurricane. do you think the base will darken up under the t5? it was apparently happy where it was, because it spit out the 10 new eyes within a month...

i may also add uv lighting super actinic and ati pro color...

You better rename it and put it on ebay before someone elses morphs!</sarcasm>

i'll take reeferdood's cue and call it the moneymaker chalice. :p

bump for the night shift - curious if anyone else has seen their hurricane do this...

The base color looks washed out. Love the eye color though. Mine gets reddish orange and yellow eyes.
