I’m contemplating about adding a 6” female personifer & a 4” blue line to an 180G that has an established 10” male scribbled, 4” regal angel, & 3” venustus. Do you guys think I’m pushing it or these more peaceful angels would get along?

I'd worry because you'd be adding two more Chaetodontoplus which would mean 3 fairly closely related angelfish and they'd be more likely to fight. Acclimation boxes seem to work really well for angels but I still think its a very big risk.

Chaetodontoplus meredithi
Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis
Chaetodontoplus duboulayi
Pygoplites diacanthus
Paracentropyge venusta

i cant think

You’ll have some aggression from your Scribbled for sure, the regal and Venustus may ignore the two newbies. Just be careful as they are two Chaetodontoplus you’re adding to an established and much larger Chaetodontoplus.

I know that what i worry that the 3 are in the same genus but was hoping their ducile nature will make them easier to co-exist. How about just the two that have the biggest size variation?

Thanks I am worried by that so I was hoping the use of a 10x10x10 acclimation box for a week will do the trick…, at least for two Chartodontoplus

Based on experience ( and BTW - nice size specimens) - I would consider Blue line. Personifier can be a jerk and become non-stop once a bad behavior begins

Is there a difference between true and false personifers in terms of this “bad attitude”? I notice both scribbled and false personifer do not like big wrasses

Every fish has their own personality and often cannot be predicted as example. My huge clown tang and purple tang as well as 6 line wrasse- Model citizens. Im going off what ive seen the last 4 decades and of those I had at my LFS. Every once in a while you get a good one and what should be good - the devil's child
