Has anyone modified their RSR stand? Particularly the back of it. I'm going to T the return of mine to go through the wall behind, but I'm not sure the cut-out has enough room to do that. I'm not the a structural engineer type, so I don't want to weaken it without advice.

Full disclosure, my RSR 425XL is on order so I haven't actually seen how much room I've got yet...

If you want to put in a 1” pvc pipe there should not be any problem with drilling a hole slightly larger than 1” in the back of the stand. Just make sure it is a 1/2’ or so away from the other hole just to be safe. Also make sure it does not go through any structural pieces and you should be fine.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
