Mr aqua 22g long filtration?

Hi guys, couldn’t anything using search. Tank will have few fish and soft corals, not sure about filtration. I’m thinking fluval 107 or 207, which one you think is adequate? thanks

IMO...I would do 207.
Better flow rate.

Personally I would just go with a hob, no need to spend that much for a canister for that size tank.

I was thinking of AC HOB but i like the clean look of the canister. If i go with HOB which size Aqua clear is sufficient?

If you buy Aquaclear..IMO Buy the 110....huge media area which you can later DIY a fuge.

Personally I would go with the 20-30 gallon size, its mainly for mechanical filtration and for running activated carbon if you want. The main filtration is the biological filtration which is provided by the rocks. My 15 gallon has no filter, just rocks and flow and weekly water changes.

Its your choice, but perhaps do more reading on it. There are lots of threads on this forum about running tanks with either hob or canister or nothing. I cannot say that hob is better than canister, everyone has their own preference, I just threw out another option.

But a canister will provide flow in the tank, if you do go with a hob, then keep in mind the tank will need a powerhead to move the water, the hob by itself is not sufficient.

The 110 would be more than adequate

Thanks guys, think I’ll go with the fluval 207 since it also has adjustable flow.
