My 75 gallon tank

Ok I was told to start a topic thread on my tank. So here we go.
The DT is a 75 gallon rectangle with built in over flow in the left corner. It's on a standard stand and hood..The hood I moded for the lights. My lights are two kessil A160WE tuna blues.I'm using a Esshops third gen refugium sump. Really wanted second gen cause I done like where the return pump is. I use a octoreef skimmer. And the esshops refugium light( looking at upgrading it ). I also us a gryer ice something powerhead and love it.
My lights are on a timer right now that runs for 7am to 1pm and im looking at getting a kessil controller from them.
And right now I've got
1x clown
3x Bengals
3x PJs
And 1x red banded shrimp.

Ive got a bit of a hair algae problem and I would like to add a yellow tang and a foxface
Ive also got some beginner corals on the way.

Looks good! Snails could also help your hair algae. I like a mix of Trochus and Cerith. They cover most nuisances and can flip themselves over. Hermit crabs like hair algae too.

+1 on the cuc mentioned above. I like the rock work you have going on. What type of corals are coming in?

The hair algae could be from your lights being mounted to low and very white, also wondering what your nitrate and phosphate are?

Palythoas, bright green. Super bright under blue lights.

Pulsing Xenia. Love it, hate it, this strain pulses constantly and grows as fast as you expect.

Tubipora, light green. Highly underrated coral. The soft coral that thinks it’s a hard coral. Fast growing but does not spread.

Mushroom, green striped. Does well in low light.

Mushroom, green hairy. Very bright green, likes to spread.

Neon green sinularia. Almost as bright green as GSP, a must have for any soft coral tank.

Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrate 30ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Alkalinity 200ppm
Ph 8
Salinity 1.025

Yeah I do about one a month changes

That's maybe the problem. How 's your feeding, heavy or light and how many times a day?

Ok, that's really light. My concern is more the Nitrates than the algae cus you said is a little bit and probably a few more CUC that other member suggest before will be fine. Try doing a 10% water change every 2 weeks and see if that brings down the Nitrates.
