My DIY Kalk Reactor

I decide to make my own reacto to see if it coul'd keep up with my tank while i am on vacation...

I used 1 Acrylic cilinder of 4 1/2" OD by 27" high...(1/8 thick)
Two Pieces of Black Acrylic for the Flanges
Some PVC and a pump I bought in Petco.

Needed to tap the flanges for the Push fettings

Had to purshase some gasket media from HD (I forgot that i had to seal the cover)

This exact design i paid almost $120 for!!! Great job, what did it cost you total to do this?

It cost me around $35.00 with out the pump the pump cost $20.00 at petco...
I still using it and love it great reactor I'll post some pictures of it working later on..

Im thinking I can run it in conjunction of my already preexisting reactor, which i run carbon and ROWA in, would you say?

Please do... and some more detail on how it all went together... also, there did you get the acrylic tubes?

I got them from a guy here in BRS...I think I still have one tube hanging around...
