my first water test

day 2 of the new tank. This is my first tank so be gentle
pH - 7.5
Ammonia - 0.25 ppm
Nitrite - 0 ppm
Nitrate - 20 ppm

good? bad?

Good. Just wait till ammonia and nitrites go down to 0. Also, wait until your diatom bloom. That's the sign of cycle being almost done.

what does a diatom bloom look like? how long should that take? i added some stuff that is supposed to speed up the cycle process (Microbacter)

Depends really. How much live rock are you using?
Diatoms are the brown algae you'll see on your substrate and rock once the cycle is almost done.
Time wise, I don't know. My cycle took 2 weeks(which is really really fast for using only 1 lb of live rock and 21lbs of dry rock)
Just be patient. Nothing comes fast in this hobby
