Need advice on what is going on here

Hopefully I can find some help here. My Duncan appeared to be bleaching out yesterday so I moved it lower down in the tank. I woke up this morning to check and feed the tank and I was welcomed with this. What is happening and what is the recommend course of action to take?

My little touch coral has been half closed up for a few days also and now I'm seeing this stuff on it. Water quality has been okay in numbers however I have been getting a lot of dust algea on the glass and protein bubbles.

Tank is a 10 gallon waterbox nano. Around 5 months old.

My hats comes off to those that maintain nano tanks due to there (in my opinion) difficulty. Parameter swings can be a challenging thing to prevent with systems that small. Just a few quick thoughts.

1. It appears that those specific corals are dying - Rapid Tissue Necrosis (RTN).
2. I think the tank is still young and not as established as it could be.
3. Post the parameter numbers, so others may reply with those stats in mind.

Iodine dips, or perhaps some other coral dips, can help.

Looks like brown jelly. Be very careful when taking them out, because if parts fall off they can spread very easily.

It‘s up to you how aggressive you want to be treating it, some people have success but it can spread. Some people just cut their losses on the coral as soon as they see it.

Nitrate - 2
Alkalinity - 10.3
Calcium - 430
Magnesium - 1410
Phosphates - 0.1

My lfs confirmed it was brown jelly. The Duncan coral was lost. I cut the affected head off the torch and did and Iodine dip. Also dipped a blastomussa that was close to the Duncan and looked like a piece had blown over. Did a water change too. It wasn't easy taking the Duncan out without the jelly getting dislodge and moving through the tank.
