Me too!! How are you? How is your tank doing??I am so glad it was just work and life and nothing bad.
Thanks for asking. It has passed the water tests. Progress is stalled until my husband can finish the polishing...sigh. And he is completely swamped with work. And I can not order my LR until Richard from TBS comes back from vacation. But my yellow tail damsel, starry blennie and coral banded shrimp are all doing well in my QT system.Me too!! How are you? Ok sure. Thank you.Hey! Awesome! I was thinking about getting a damsel but afraid of it bullying. Lol. Send me a link to your thread. I don’t think I’ve seen it!! I would love to go check it out!
Thank you so much! It has a long way to go!Great 180G Build
Anthias - get all female one will transition to a male.
Tangs - Powder blue last from what I remember they will beat up on any tangs after them. Could be wrong though
How about a Tomini, Kole or Two spot? Purple is always a good choice too though
I got a male Anthias first and then 2 females. One of the females was a little larger than the other and the smaller one only made it a week. I think she got beat up. I would get all the same size and let them figure out who's going to change. When I added the females, the male was very aggressive to them. I know this is pecking order but I also think it contributed to the little ones death.
No reason to get either before the other. But I would get the PBT last. I'm not sure which way I would go. Anthias are fun to watch because they add a lot of motion to the tank but so don't tangs..... tough call

I'm not a fan of the hippo... But that's just me.
I have been keeping Marine fish since 93 and at that time I worked for Orkin in NC. I had a customer that had a salt tank and all he did was rave about his hippo. All I could think about at the time was "It's no PBT" which was my all time favorite. Just don't see the excitement in them. Back then the hippo was a very inexpensive fish too (under $30). The PBT was about $100 back then too.
