They look great! My flexes came in today. Tickle me impressed. I’m running about 150W power total (both fixtures added up) and getting 300-500 par across acros and 200 at sandbed.

I do think that ATIs estimates of a single strip covering 48x24 may be a bit optimistic. I saw clear shading with a single strip around the 24” wide mark of my aquascape. That being said, maybe that was in part due to lack of light reflection off of glass, which a true 24” footprint would have.
Looking great! That’s really impressive the PAR and spread you’re getting for less than 1 Radion worth of watts. How is the light spill in the room? Looks like you have them fairly high.My flexes came in today. Tickle me impressed. I’m running about 150W power total (both fixtures added up) and getting 300-500 par across acros and 200 at sandbed.

Light spill isn't bad at all. I've got them hung at 12" above the tank. The reflectors do some good work; minimal side glare from a seated position (as good as if not better than my Reefi). I loved the philips coral cares, but the side glare killed me every time I looked at the tank from a chair.Looking great! I’d LOVE to have a pair of these but gosh the 56” seems like overkill for my 59” tank. Wild to think 1 can replace my 6x54 Sunpower for 1/4 of the watts.
Perhaps 1 paired with my Mitras LB3 would do the job for a 59x24 footprint![]()
Nice setup. I hope other early adopters will post reviews. I wish these lights have sexier on tank mounting options. My flexes came in today. Tickle me impressed. I’m running about 150W power total (both fixtures added up) and getting 300-500 par across acros and 200 at sandbed.

They are 5w LEDS I believe and you have to be careful because too much power of being too close will kill stuff. That is insanely impressive par output given that these lights only draw 165 watts!
My tank? It's 36" wide. How wide is the tank? Really Considering these or the pros but would need two flex or 3 pro to ensure no shading on my 30” wide peninsula.
On retrospect and playing around with lighting configuration a bit. I think that a single strip would adequately cover most 48x18 inch areas. For a 48x24 area though, it may be necessary to mount the light closer to the front of the tank and angle the light backwards for better coverage and to minimize shadowing in the front end of corals (sacrificing some coverage at the back end of the corals). My flexes came in today. Tickle me impressed. I’m running about 150W power total (both fixtures added up) and getting 300-500 par across acros and 200 at sandbed.

So nice, what light are you running now.Got my Flex 102 today. Quite the "no frills" packaging for a $1200 light, but that's ATI.

The solid aluminum light has some weight to it. Very nice looking.

I have to figure out how I am going to mount it to my light rack. I will be running 10 series 8020 perpendicular instead of parallel and will need to print my own adapter. Hopefully tomorrow I will at least be able to test what it looks like over the tank.
Thanks for sharing! That cable from the WiFi box to the light doesn’t look very longGot my Flex 102 today. Quite the "no frills" packaging for a $1200 light, but that's ATI.

I haven’t measured mine, but I’d estimate 9 feet. Thanks for sharing! That cable from the WiFi box to the light doesn’t look very long![]()
I thought so too until I unwound it. I measure 9 feet but probably more if I pulled it taunt. Thanks for sharing! That cable from the WiFi box to the light doesn’t look very long![]()
Sunpower 48" 6 bulb and an Orphek light strip. So nice, what light are you running now.
