Is that for your return line? Do you not have your return line near the surface to break its siphon during a power outage?

Will that work better on some way than a check valve? I’m assuming that it is a normally closed valve that is kept open with supplied voltage and closes when the power goes out.

That is correct normally closed until provided power. When power flicks it will shut it off. It’s the herbie, Durso, emergency style overflow. This will attach to the herbie line directly.

She is finally on a pallet. Work has been sucking and getting pretty busy (manage money) and well…yea 3-4 am starts until 6-7 at night. Seeing it on a pallet is the highlight of the week foresure.

Built the eel enclosure
what type of eel will you get and what size is that pvc? maybe just the pics but looks pretty small. I have seen some fat eels. Could not imagine the headache of having one get stuck and rot in that tube somewhere.

White ribbon, rather thin eel.

Week 12 of a 8-10 week build and was informed it didn’t ship yesterday and don’t think today either. To say disappointed is a understatement. Owell should have known things don’t fall into place as expected.

Calcite sand. The most stable form of calcium carbonate, Aragonite isn’t as stable as we think just sold often. Bought most of the inventory in the USA so hopefully seachem can get some more lol.

Seachem gray coast being washed. 5-10lbs in the bucket. Followed by dump for heavy silt removal. Then 10-20 lbs in tub followed by dump for more silt removal. Then 20-40 lbs in another tub for silt removal. Not perfect but will be clear quickly. Rodi cooking now so will have that settled and sitting in prime until ready to rock.

I wonder if he’s just letting the silicone cure longer.

So who gets to fight it out, the shipper and the shipping company? Or do you have to file a claim?
