Hey Ev1! New experience for me in the forums.. I currently set up my very 1st Nano Tank.. IM 25g lagoon.. aka: SanDi's Lagoon.. I love how easy it is to clean it .. I love the smaller water changes .. but these lil tanks are tempermental aren't they ?? Geesh.. No room for error at all. I am involved in the "Rico's Nano Challenge 2018". I'm also a sponsor in the challenge as well. I'm not in it to win it lol I'm in it to challenge myself with a Nano. I have a few dino's I noticed that apparently came in on a frag plug so I'm treating with Dino x right now.. Any experience with Dino x??

Welcome to R2R!! No experience with dino x unfortunately. But hopefully someone else who has will chime in :)

@SanDi's Reef
Welcome to Reef 2 Reef and thanks for signing up :)

Yes,
Those small water volumes can be tough to keep stable.

Used Dino-X years ago when it was called Ultra Algae X and it did the job for my strain.
Need to follow the instructions to a tee with that product. Also, it will kill all inverts except BTA's.

At the time I was keeping the water column too clean and making more water changes than I should had and it opened the door for the dino's.

Good luck with the Nano Challenge and glad your here.

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Let’s see some tank pics! :)

May I ask how long you’ve had your nano tank set up?
