As for filtration, you can start simple and work up with the sump. I am a big fan of DIY 40 breeder sumps and with FOWLR setups you can go simple, but leave room for growth when you decide to make it a mixed reef.

Either way, you should head on over to the link below and make a build thread. They are very helpful at tracking what you have done, what you plan to do, and we really like pictures also lol. This area may also give you some ideas for what options you have, all tanks in the link are 180-399 gallons and I think there are a few large corner build threads in that area as well.
